SDN Contributor is a set of widgets and and web based services that provides information from a [[https://www.sdn.sap.com|SDN]] profile. At the moment it reads the name and total points from a profile and a members latest blog posts on SDN.

SDN Contributor is available in several incarnations to make SDN profile informations available in many different places.



===== SDN Contributor Wordpress Widget =====
A plugin for the Wordpress blogging platform to work as a sidebar widget. It shows the name and total number of contribution points in SDN. The name will get linked to your SDN Business Card and the points number to a members Contribution Points page.

SDN Contributor can also list latest SDN blog posts for a member. Parts of the visual appearance are configurable e.g. to publishing date and description for each blog post.

===== SDN Contributor Blogger.com Widget =====
A service based incarnation to work for blog sites hosted by Blogger.com/Google (former BlogSpot.com). It shows the name and total number of contribution points in SDN. The display SDN member name will get linked to his/her SDN Business Card and the points number to the members Contribution Points page.

===== SDN Contributor Google Gadget =====
Implementation of SDN Contributor to work as a Google Gadget. Google Gadgets work for a variety of places like Google Desktop, Google Personalized Homepage, Google Page Creator or a custom website (It's usually just some HTML/JS calling an external service). Converters are available to transform Google Gadgets to Mac OSX Dashboard Widgets ([[http://amnesty.mesadynamics.com/GeneratorMac.html|converter]], [[http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/developer/widgetopsuniversalgooglegadgetwidget.html|dashboard widget converter]]) or Windows Vista Sidebar Gadgets ([[http://amnesty.mesadynamics.com/GeneratorWin.html|converter]]).
